GOVERNANCE • COMPLIANCE • Access advisory

CYMUNED

We help charities, community organisations, individuals, and mission-driven businesses navigate governance, stay compliant, and access the systems they need without the corporate price tag.

01.

The problem we see

Many organisations grow in activity but not in structure. Governance becomes reactive. Compliance becomes fragmented. And for individuals, systems that should help like the Financial Ombudsman or civil courts feel impossible to navigate alone. Good intentions and determination alone are not enough.

02.

How Cymuned works

Cymuned works as a fractional governance, compliance, and access advisory practice. For organisations, we help boards and leadership teams make clear, defensible decisions. For individuals, we help navigate complaints, civil claims, and regulatory processes affordably and without jargon. No hype. No unnecessary complexity. Just clarity.

03.

About Us

Cymuned was built on a simple belief: that good governance is an act of care and that access to process guidance should not be a privilege. Cymuned is led by Aiman Ismail, a legal and compliance professional with over 11 years of experience across the UK and Malaysia, advising charities, social enterprises, startups, and fintech organisations on governance, regulatory compliance, and responsible technology. Aiman holds an LLB from Sheffield and an LLM from Swansea, and is a student member of the Chartered Governance Institute. Aiman's work spans charity law, AML and financial crime prevention, data protection, AI governance, and legaltech bringing legal rigour and practical insight in a way that is accessible, not intimidating. Cymuned was founded to make that expertise available to the organisations and people that need it most.
